  The bed & breakfast option was horrible and wildly over priced. Little plastic container of sugary fruit pieces and small packet of porridge does not make a breakfast. Rooms were stuffy and asked not to use fans at night because we'd disturb the owners above??? Second night was bad. The walls are paper thin and you heard every little movement from other people. Ended up sleeping in the car. Location is great and I'm sure camping is wonderful but B&B it's a definite NO.

  Dark Sky Preserve with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada was one of the highpoints of our trip. Through several telescopes and binoculars, we saw planets, stars, galaxies and watched as high signal to noise photos were taken and processed. The Dark Sky Preserve is down a dirt road away from the rest of the campground, but it was worth it.

  Never had such horrible service over the phone. I called to cancel 2 days after booking. Booking was 3 months ahead and the refused to refund us. Rita' s attitude was disrespectful and disheartening. They are obviously in it just for the money.
